This project proposes the creation of a flexible multi-purpose space able to host exhibitions, meetings, and ceremonies. Located within Can Travé—a heritage ensemble in the historic core of Cubelles—the new building is conceived as a contemporary addition that is clearly distinguishable from the existing protected structures while still reinforcing the continuity of the complex by attaching to it, following the site’s sequence of connected volumes.
The proposal is organized on two levels: one partially underground and one at street level, allowing different programs to operate simultaneously. A single sloping roof wraps over the entire volume and extends down to the ground, giving the building a clear, unified form and a strong connection to the landscape.
